Impact Sound Insulation
The impact sound protection products from BSW are predominantly employed in the following situations:
- Under-Screed Impact Sound Insulation
Able to bear high loads
Regupol® screed insulation is specialised in impact sound protection under floating screeds bearing high loads. The two screed insulation mats Regupol® E48 and Regupol® BA have proven to be extremely strong when bearing high static and dynamic loads. For area loads of 30 and 50 kN/m², compressibility is very low (≤ 1 and ≤ 2 mm, respectively). After decompression, the Regupol® impact sound insulation mats return to nearly their original thickness (98 %).
Moisture-resistant
Regupol® impact sound insulation under screeds does not even decompose when it is subjected to permanent moisture. Consequently, the material is suitable for applications in floor constructions into which water can penetrate.
National technical approval granted
Regupol® E48 and Regupol® BA possess the German general national technical approval and the European technical approval. Therefore they are the only screed insulation mats made of rubber fibres that can be used without restrictions in all rooms that are defined as recreation rooms.
